Kukhona ijeneretha ye-nitrogen ehlanzekile enamandla okukhiqiza igesi engama-cubic metres ayi-1000 ngehora kanye nokuhlanzeka okungu-99.999%, okusetshenziselwa ukuvikela i-nitrogen ngesikhathi sokukhiqizwa kwezinto ezintsha zamakhemikhali. Kukhona ijeneretha ye-nitrogen enamandla okukhiqiza igesi angama-cubic metres angama-90 ngehora kanye nobumsulwa obungama-99.9%, ikakhulukazi esetshenziselwa ukuvikela i-nitrogen ekukhiqizeni izithako ezisebenzayo zemithi yokubulala izinambuzane. Kukhona ijeneretha ye-nitrogen enosayizi omaphakathi enamandla okukhiqiza igesi angama-cubic metres ayi-180 ngehora kanye nobumsulwa obungama-99.9%, esetshenziswa njengegesi evikelayo ekucubunguleni izinto zokusetshenziswa zamakhemikhali enkampanini ye-biotechnology. Kukhona ijeneretha encane ye-nitrogen enamandla okukhiqiza igesi angama-cubic metres angu-30 ngehora kanye nokuhlanzeka okungama-99.9%, asetshenziswa njengegesi evikelayo ekuxubeni kwezinto zokusetshenziswa kwamakhemikhali embonini yamakhemikhali e-Yantai. I-nitrogen yaziwa ngokuthi "igesi yokuvikeleka" embonini yamakhemikhali ngenxa yezimo zayo zamakhemikhali ezizinzile kanye nokungabi namandla.
